Staff Positions
The Mandate Journal periodically opens full-time and part-time staff positions across editorial, research, and operations. All positions are remote-eligible unless otherwise noted.
Senior Diplomatic Correspondent
Cover U.S. foreign policy, State Department briefings, and international summits. Requires 5+ years of diplomatic or foreign affairs journalism experience and demonstrated press accreditation history.
International Affairs Editor
Oversee the editorial calendar for international affairs coverage, manage contributing writers, and ensure editorial standards. Requires 7+ years of editorial experience in international media.
Humanitarian Affairs Reporter
Report on humanitarian crises, UN agency activities, and international aid operations. NGO or UN field experience preferred.
Digital & Social Media Coordinator
Manage The Mandate Journal's digital presence, social media strategy, and audience engagement. Experience with diplomatic or policy media preferred.
